Anushka Sharma is on a roll with a third film in her kitty, paired yet again with an A-list actor – Akshay Kumar.

The film, Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House is her first outside the Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner.

The 21-year-old, who debuted in 2008 with YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan, has a three film contract with YRF that allows her to concurrently work outside the banner.

Anushka is currently filming for Parmeet Sethi’s Next under the YRF banner, with co-stars Shahid Kapur, Purab Kohli and Vir Das.

“Yes, I am doing Patiala House and I am extremely happy with the script. I’ll finish Parmeet Sethi’s film in December and will start shooting for Nikhil’s film by mid-December,” Anushka confirmed to Mumbai Mirror
